AI Monday Jihlava: AI Filmmaking & Creativity Takeaways
Another great AI Monday in Jihlava! This session focused on filmmaking and creativity using AI – and since I'm currently working on short-form videos for my small app Bondo, the timing couldn't have been better.
Key Takeaways
1. Be Extremely Clear and Descriptive
AI can interpret prompts differently than we expect. The more precise your description, the better the output.
Instead of this:
"Show a person using the app"
Try this:
"Close-up of hands holding an iPhone, tapping on the Bondo app's orange contact card, warm lighting, shallow depth of field"
Specificity is everything.
2. Write a Detailed Technical Script
Don't wing it. A proper scene-by-scene breakdown makes all the difference. Before you even touch the AI tool, know exactly what you want in each moment.
3. Work Scene by Scene
Don't try to generate everything in one go. Build your video piece by piece. This gives you more control and makes it easier to iterate on individual parts without starting over.
4. Use Start and End Frames
Define where each scene begins and where it should end. This gives AI clear visual anchors to work with and produces much more consistent results.
Thanks
Big thanks to Commity.cz, Alois Holub, and Viktor Priesel for making AI Monday happen, and to speakers David Spáčil and Pavel Vitešník for sharing their knowledge!
Now off to apply these lessons to my Bondo promo videos. ✌️
