AI Monday Jihlava: What the First Vibe Coding Event Taught Me

Yesterday I attended the first AI Monday in Jihlava, focused on Vibe Coding — and once again it reminded me how fast the AI space is evolving and how much it can improve our development workflow when used correctly.

The event was packed with practical demos, real-world insights, and discussions about both the strengths and limitations of current AI tools.
Here’s what stood out to me 👇

🧠 AI Coders in Real Development — Jiri George Dolejs

The event opened with Jiri George Dolejs, who demonstrated how AI coders can support everyday developer work:

  • faster component generation
  • accelerated prototyping
  • reduced friction when testing new ideas
  • smoother iteration cycles

It wasn’t about replacing developers — it was about enhancing them and giving them space to move faster without losing control over their code.

🚀 Google Antigravity — A Promising Surprise

We also looked at Google’s new Antigravity, and honestly, it exceeded expectations.

It feels like:

  • a clean, powerful code editor
  • deeply integrated with the Gemini ecosystem
  • ideal for rapid prototyping, debugging, and refactoring
  • a potential competitor to tools like Cursor

If you already use Google’s AI models, this tool might easily become part of your workflow.

🌐 AI-Generated Websites & Indexing Issues — A Big Aha Moment

Petr Brzek from Macaly brought one of the most insightful presentations of the evening.

The key point that stuck with me:

Some AI-generated websites simply aren’t built for proper indexing.

Main issues include:

  • poorly structured HTML
  • crawling difficulties
  • missing metadata
  • limitations within auto-generated components
  • SEO-unfriendly layouts

Since I sometimes use AI-assisted website generators, this hit close to home.

I realized:

👉 I need to sit down with Macaly and rebuild certain parts of my sites properly.
Better structure = better visibility.

🛠️ Tools Worth Noting

1️⃣ TRH.AI — Real AI Case Studies

A great collection of real, practical examples of AI usage across industries.
Very helpful for inspiration and understanding what actually works in the field.

2️⃣ OpenRouter — All Models in One Place

A personal favorite:

  • access to most major modern models
  • simple switching
  • transparent pricing
  • great for testing, benchmarking, and experimenting

For anyone working with multiple LLMs, it’s a massive productivity boost.

🙌 Thanks to the Organizers

Big thanks to Alois Holub and Commity.cz for hosting such a well-structured and engaging event.

And of course, thank you for the Macaly credits — I’m definitely going to use them. 🙂

🔚 Final Thoughts

AI Monday Jihlava delivered:

  • practical demos
  • real-world insights
  • useful warnings
  • new tools to explore
  • and things I need to fix or rethink in my own work

Events like this are a great reminder:
AI evolves incredibly fast — and staying connected to the community helps you keep pace.

Already looking forward to the next one.
