Bondo Now Has Automatic Push Notifications

Bondo push notifications

This week, Bondo crossed an important milestone.

It now has automatic push notifications.

It might sound like a small feature, but for a personal CRM focused on relationships, timing and reminders are everything. Without notifications, the app is passive. With them, it becomes proactive.

Why Push Notifications Matter for Bondo

Bondo isn’t about collecting contacts.

It’s about:

  • remembering people at the right time
  • reconnecting before relationships go cold
  • turning good intentions into actual action

Automatic notifications are what make this possible without friction.

No manual triggers.
No constant checking.
Just the right nudge at the right moment.

How It’s Built

I kept the architecture simple and reliable:

  • Supabase
Stores users, events, and notification logic.

  • n8n
Orchestrates workflows, schedules checks, and decides when a notification should be sent.

  • AWS
Handles the delivery layer and scalability.

Each part does one thing well, and together they form a system that’s flexible enough to evolve as the app grows.

Small Steps, Real Progress

This is not a flashy launch.

It’s one of those quiet features that:

  • improves the user experience immediately
  • removes manual work
    z
  • and moves the app closer to being release-ready

Exactly the kind of progress I want to make at this stage.

What’s Next

With push notifications in place, the focus now shifts to:

  • final testing
  • onboarding polish
  • edge cases and reliability

All with one clear goal in mind:

👉 getting Bondo ready for its first iOS release.

Step by step. 💪
