Shopify integration and automation

A shop that is doing well creates work somewhere else entirely: keeping stock straight, passing orders on, sorting documents, chasing shipments. I connect Shopify to the rest of your operation so that work goes away.

What can run on its own

The steps that break most often in day-to-day trading.

  • orders into ERP or inventory
  • stock levels between warehouse and shop
  • invoices into accounting
  • shipping jobs and tracking
  • returns and credit notes
  • customers into the CRM

Beyond the standard

Where no existing app fits, I build the missing logic.

  • private Shopify apps for internal use
  • pricing and discount logic on your rules
  • B2B flows with customer-specific pricing
  • marketplace connections
  • reports Shopify does not provide
  • data migration when changing platform

When it pays off

Usually earlier than businesses expect, because the work grows with every order.

  • somebody maintains stock twice
  • orders get exported and imported
  • documents are hunted down monthly
  • mistakes surface at the customer
  • a jump in sales would swamp the team

Working languages: English and Czech

I work from Czechia for clients across Europe and further out. Everything runs in English — calls, documentation and handover — or in Czech if that suits you better. Time zone is CET, which overlaps a normal working day almost everywhere in Europe and the morning in the US.

FAQ

Are there not ready-made apps in the Shopify App Store?
For common combinations yes, and then I will recommend one, because a maintained app is cheaper than anything I build. It gets interesting where none fits: custom pricing logic, a legacy system with no connector, or three apps that together cost more than one clean integration.
What does a Shopify integration cost?
A single connection, say orders into inventory, is usually one to three weeks of work. What decides it is the system on the other side, not Shopify: a modern API connects quickly, a twenty-year-old inventory package does not.
Will the shop keep running during the change?
Yes. I test every connection on real data in a separate environment first and only switch over once it holds. For stock, both paths run in parallel for a while so a mistake does not immediately cause overselling.
Do you work with WooCommerce or other platforms?
Yes. The patterns are the same, only the interface differs. Shopify has the best documentation, so it usually moves faster there.

What does your team redo by hand after every order?

Describe the path an order takes through your business. Anywhere it gets copied into another system, there is usually something to remove.
