I work from Czechia for clients across Europe and further out. Everything runs in English — calls, documentation and handover — or in Czech if that suits you better. Time zone is CET, which overlaps a normal working day almost everywhere in Europe and the morning in the US.
FAQ
- What makes a website more or less expensive?
- Rarely the page count. It goes up with integrations into other systems, several languages with separate content, user accounts, and migrating data from an old site. It comes down when copy and images already exist and one person decides. You get a fixed price after a short call.
- Can I edit the content myself afterwards?
- Yes. You get a content system where text, images and whole pages can be changed without me. I am available for anything beyond that, but you are not dependent on it.
- Why not WordPress?
- WordPress is fine for many cases, but it brings maintenance and security work that small businesses rarely keep on top of. I build with React and Next.js, which loads faster and has far less attack surface. If WordPress is right for your case, I will say so.
- Do you take over existing websites?
- Yes, where access exists and the technology is mainstream. I look at what is there first and tell you honestly whether a rework or a rebuild is cheaper.
